Dubbed “Fashion’s Night Out,” the event will take place in the main branch of Shinsegae Department Store and on the streets of Myeong-dong in downtown Seoul.
The festival is organized by U.S. fashion magazine Vogue and was first launched in New York last year. This year it expands worldwide, taking place in 16 countries.
Starting with France on Tuesday, the show will be held in the top fashion cities in the order of Korea, the U.K., Italy, Australia, Portugal, Spain, India, Russia, the U.S., Japan, China, Taiwan, Greece and Turkey.
At the Seoul event, special editions of various brands including Bean Pole, Club Monaco, Gap, Giordano, H&M, Mango and Zara will be sold on the streets of Myeong-dong against a backdrop of performances by indie bands.
Other attractions will include a catalog photo shoot of model Jang Yoon-ju in the Chanel store in Shinsegae Department Store, and a styling class in the Gucci shop
