Iman Previews New Interior Design Line at New York Fashion Week

Clearly, Iman can do anything she puts her mind to—she could probably take over the world if she so desired. A successful modeling career and makeup and accessories company isn’t enough for Iman, and she’s branching out into another creative field with a new line of home goods.
Iman Home makes its big debut on fashion’s main stage—New York Fashion Week. WWD reports Iman has worked together with design consultant Carlos Mota to transform the VIP Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge using her line of interior design fabrics and pieces of her personal furniture and photographs. She says:
Since I stopped modelling, got married and had a daughter, home has become a passion of mine. The gods of the interior decoration must have been looking down on me, because all of a sudden, here was this great opportunity to create the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge.
