Mary J. Blige admits she has made fashion mistakes in the past.
The ‘No More Drama’ singer – who has worn a selection of Victoria Beckham dresses recently – says she has had to experiment with her style to get a look which is right for her.
She said: “I’ve had some disasters, some disastrous hair moments and clothing moments, but that’s due to the insecurity in me and not knowing what works for me and trying to do what works for everybody else.
“But once you fall into what works for you, which is what I did, you can’t go wrong unless you just want to go wrong.”
Mary also gave advice to women who are not confident with their bodies.
She said: “You know if you can wear something tight and formfitting and it be hot, or you know if you’re going to wear something tight and you’re going to be bubbling all over the place.”
