International Fashion Designer Is ‘fascinated by the physical beauty’

Al Alusi, a fashion designer and the Creative Director for Al Alusi, Couture, creates high-end evening wear for international customers.
As a person who understands fabric and design she found the costumes to be very luxurious, very eye catching and beautiful.”The material seems to be very sumptuous, the silk especially, very beautiful,” she said. “I really like the flowing, the sleeves, and how it communicates the feelings, how the flowing of the silk was sort of a mechanism for communicating an interior manifestation. I thought that was beautiful, it’s a beautiful touch, something that every fashion designer tries to achieve, so you did a fantastic job.”
The depth and variety of classical Chinese dance impressed her, too, and she said “I have been really fascinated by the physical beauty of the Chinese Classical Dance combined with the so many aspects, coming from a Western perspective.”
This show was definitely something she hadn’t seen before, and she said “I am always interested in new experiences and learning new things. Chinese culture is so ancient and so beautiful, that I am very honored to have this experience.”
‘I am looking forward to the second half’
This was the first time for Jeff and Jane to see the Shen Yun show. Jeff is a general contractor-builder but they also have a charitable foundation. They have a keen interest in China so they wanted to come see this show about the traditional Chinese culture and dance. His response to the show was “It’s just beautiful, all that we expected, we are real thrilled to be here.” He liked the beauty, the color, and the dancers’ abilities in doing all the jumps and flips.
Jane, his wife, said, “It’s beautiful! it’s fun, it’s entertaining, we are having fun, I am looking forward to the second half.”
And as an additional thought Jeff said he thought the singing [vocalists] added a nice mix.
Jane said she would describe the show to her friends as phenomenal, entertaining, exciting, [with] beautiful colors and the backgrounds are gorgeous. Jeff agreed that the backgrounds are really fun too. He had never seen back drops like that before and thought they added a lot. He said he was excited to see what would come up next.
Because of their foundation work Jeff said that they are inspired to do what they can to help the Chinese people so it is really good this evening to see some their traditional culture and music and their talent.
