CHICAGO – A Chicago teen is making a big name for herself in the world of fashion. She’s even featured on today’s front page of the Tribune. Tavi Gevinson writes a blog called “Style Rookie.” She has an online following of more than 4-million readers. She analyzes designers and posts pictures of herself in quirky outfits. She also posts links to various designers and other inside fashion news. Tavi is making magazine covers and even has a column in “Harper’s Bazaar.” The magazine’s editor was impressed with Tavi when they met at a Marc Jacobs show in the fall.
