The clothes we wear say so much about the era we live in. So to look back on the last 60-years, Beijing television is airing a New Year’s special, “Beijing in 2009″. Here’s a sneak peak, before it airs in January.
How do you describe Chinese fashion in one word? Red.
That’s the theme of the “Beijing In 2009″ fashion awards, where famous designers from across the nation are invited to get creative with red.
Chinese stars will model the clothes, interpreting changes in fashion over the last 60 years since the People’s Republic of China was founded in 1949.
“Beijing In 2009″ fashion awards will air on Beijing Television on January 2nd.
