A Top-to-Toe fashion transformation will be witnessed’… promised the invite… and yes, Amit and Deepa Dholakia of fashion store Amara at Kemps Corner kept their promise.
Three lady designers — Payal Kothari, Pooja Singhal and Bansri Mehta — showcased their shoes, accessories, clothes and jewellery at this event aptly called ‘Coloratti’, and the fashion-aratti of Mumbai trooped in to make it an afternoon of fashion and fun. The three designers joined hands with the idea of bringing to their customers a top-to-toe fashionable style statement.
Take Pooja’s hep attires, add Payal’s clutches and footwear to them and team the ensemble with Bansri’s beautiful jewellery… and you have a top-to-toe designer wardrobe!
Checking out the different styles, mix-and-matches and everything else on display were Shveta Salve (this shoe-o-holic was in seventh heaven trying on the varied footwear), Sagarika Ghatge (nice to see her out on the fashion scene), Nausheen Ali Sardar (someone’s been socialising a lot these days and nights!) and Akanksha Agarwal, among others. Amit and Deepa sure had reason to smile.
